We are back at the Daaquam center and Brian and Greg are waxing all the skis downstairs. We will test and compare all of them and choose our race wax when we are done. We will also do an inspection of the trail and get the dogs fed early. Later tonight we will find out the start order for tomorrow`s 6 dog race. We`ll figure out the rest of the details after the draw. I`m doing alot of deep breathing and staying focused on the race. The dogs are feeling very happy this morning , it`s only about -14 c so I guess that`s about 5 above or so, the sun is out and looks like it`s going to be a nice day. The sun comes up pretty early here,but it also goes down early as well. 6:30 am and it`s bright out side. 4:30 pm and its getting dark. And we are 4 hours ahead of home so it`s 10am here now and you all are just waking up back home.
Can`t wait till tomorrow!!!!

Remember Just breath and the rest will follow. I am Kinda getting a little nervous and excited for you. I was wondering if they are streaming this over the internet like they do here, if you know let me know. It also seems like the trails are a lot more rougher than AK-sounds like we're a bit spoiled with good snow. Good luck and I hope you have a good clean run!!!!
